While idly browsing, I have noticed we have a number of tags whose scopes significantly overlap, and should probably be merged:

• cpu vs microprocessor
• gaming vs game
• chassis vs case
• display vs screen
• nes vs famicom
• audio vs sound
• serial vs serial-port (I simply removed the latter tag from the only question that carried it)
• bugs vs glitches (this one is my fault, I made the former tag when the latter already existed; though ‘bug’ and ‘glitch’ are not necessarily synonymous either, see How can a Game Boy game "glitch-inherit" the music from a different game like this? for example)

There’s also the question of what to do with maintenance vs restoration vs repair. Maintenance and repair are clearly distinct from each other, but ‘restoration’ can plausibly overlap with either, with both, or with neither.
