While idly browsing, I have noticed we have a number of tags whose scopes significantly overlap, and should probably be merged:

- [tag:cpu] vs [tag:microprocessor]
- [tag:gaming] vs [tag:game]
- [tag:chassis] vs [tag:case]
- [tag:display] vs [tag:screen]
- [tag:nes] vs [tag:famicom]
- [tag:audio] vs [tag:sound]
- [tag:serial] vs [tag:serial-port]
- [tag:bugs] vs [tag:glitches] (this one is my fault, I made the former tag when the latter already existed; though ‘bug’ and ‘glitch’ are not necessarily synonymous either, see <https://retrocomputing.stackexchange.com/questions/17368/> for example)

There’s also the question of what to do with [tag:maintenance] vs [tag:restoration] vs [tag:repair]. Maintenance and repair are clearly distinct from each other, but ‘restoration’ can plausibly overlap with either, with both, or with neither.
